If you could makeup any celebrity who would it be? Why?

I would like to do Mariah Carey. Just so I could meet her.

What product do you consider essential for makeup?

The product that is essential for makeup is the brushes. You have to have the right tools to create the look. The application method is just as important as the technique.

What is your favorite cosmetic product to wear while performing on stage? Why?

My favorite (and if you know me, you know this), is BRONZER!! It evens the skin out with a glow from head to toe. Hollywood has been doing this years. It's just become more popular.

For a women heading out on a date, what tips could you give her to get a sexy and glamorous look without spending all night on it?

For evening you have to focus on the eyes, to make this feature stand out in dim lighting. Get a squirrel smudger brush and blend and matte and shimmer shadows all the way around the eye. Focus the matte color on the outer corner, and the shimmer on the inner. This will create bedroom eyes with a "pop". (And false lashes are nice too.)

What are the hottest colors in cosmetics right now?

Every colour house has it's own colour scheme. I personally think the colours should compliment the individual skin tone of the woman. Every woman has to find what works best for her, and add in the trends modestly to be up to date.

For the woman who would like to stand out this spring, what makeup idea would you give them?

For spring, I think a fun way to make yourself stand out in a subtle way is to use colored mascara on the tips on the lashes. Apply a coat of black mascara first, then add the color (I like fushia or turquoise), to the tips on top and bottom lashes. It will make people wonder why you look so awake!

What will be the biggest cosmetic trend in 2006?

I think the biggest trend for 2006 will be the use of peaches and pinks. On the eyes this can be used in pearled finish for day time and shimmer in the evening with grays and navys. On the cheeks, a satin finish powder or cream blush will make the complexion seem energized and radiant. The lips should be either a soft cream lipstick with lots of moisture, or a sheer gloss with a touch of the two colors either separately or blended. This look is powerful because it enhances natural beauty and compliments any skin tone. You will get noticed for your own features, not the makeup.
